Prof. Dr. Killi Janardhana Rao

Principal
Prof. Dr. Killi Janardhana Rao is associated with Balaji Law College as the principal since the year 2019. He has an experience of more than 35 years. He was the Principal at PDEA’s Law College, Hadapsar from the year 2006 to 2019. He also provided his services as a lecturer at D.S.R. Hindu College of Law, Machilipatnam and at Andhra University Post Graduate Centre, Etcherla, Srikakulum from 1986 to 2006.
He did his Ph.D in the field of Law, completed his LL.M, M.A. (Politics) and M. Com from Andhra University, Vishakhapatnam. He completed his P.G.D. IRPM & LW from Andhra Pradesh State Productivity Council (APPC), Hyderabad and his LL. B from Lingaraj Law College in Berhampore, Orissa.
He was the Member of Selection Committee for the selection of Principals and Teaching faculty for law Colleges. He was also a member of Exam Evaluation CAP Monitoring Committee, Pune University. He also worked as a Member and Chairman of Local Inquiry Committee (LIC) for affiliation of Law Colleges for Diploma, LL.B, B.A. LL.B, LL.M and Ph.D Programmes. Prof. Dr. Killi Janaradhana Rao has been awarded with the ‘Best Teacher Award’ by Shri Arundada Belhkar Yuva Rashtranirman Sanstha, Pune and the ‘Excellence Legal Services Award’ by Sinhgad Technical Education Society’s Sinhgad Law College, Pune.

Ms. Priya Mondal

Ms. Priya Mondal pursued her B.A in English Literature (Honors.) from Cotton College (Guwahati University), LL.B from Balaji Law College, LL.M International Law (Specialization) from D.E.S’s Shri.Navalmal Firodia Law College.
She is associated with Balaji Law College as Assistant Professor since July, 2019. She teaches Interpretation of Statutes, Legal Constitutional History, Jurisprudence, Labour Law, Public International Law, Criminal Psychology & Criminal Sociology and Penology & Victimology.
She has published papers in International Peer Reviewed Journals and UGC Care Listed Journals on various topics.
She has done various Faculty Development Programmes and Orientation/Induction Programme sponsored by Ministry of Human Resource Development PMMMNMTT, Teacher LearningCentre ,Ramanujam College ,University of Delhi.
She has completed with Grade “A”UN Certification course on “RIO+25: UN Water Action Decade International Short Term Course ” organised by United Nations,2020.
She is the in-charge of Legal Aid Cell of Balaji Law college.
Ms. Akanksha Srivastava
B.Com(H), LL.B, LL.M(Pursuing Ph.D)
Ms. Akanksha Srivastava pursued her B.com(H) from Delhi University, LL.B from Balaji Law College, LL.M Criminal Law (Specialization) from Department of Law, SPPU. Currently she is pursuing PhD in Criminal Law.
She is associated with Balaji Law College as Assistant Professor since July, 2019. She teaches Constitutional Law,Family Law, Transfer of Property Act,Land Laws, Alternative Dispute Redressal, Administrative Law,Criminal Minor Act, Penology and Victimology etc.
She has Judged Lok Adalat and Various National Moot court Competitions organized by different Colleges, Universities and Law Firms.
She has published papers in Peer Reviewed Journals and UGC Care Listed Journals on various topics.

Mr. Abin Biju

Mr. Abin Biju completed his B.A English Literature from Nowrosjee Wadia College, Pune and M.A in English literature from English dept , S.P.P.U.
He joined BLC as a visiting faculty in May 2021 and is now a full-time faculty in Balaji Law College since February 2022, he teaches General English, English for Law, Legal Language & Legal Reasoning and Law & Literature.
Ms. Surabhi Jain
(LL.B , LL.M (Pursuing Ph.D))
Adv. Surabhi Jain completed her B.A. LL.B from Balaji Law College,Pune and LL.M in Criminal Laws from Amity Law College, Panvel.
She did her diploma in Cyber Law from Asian School of Cyber Laws, Pune and Post Graduation Diploma in ADR from NALSAR, Hyderabad.
She practiced for 6 months in Charity Commission Cases and joined Balaji Law College in Sept 2021, now she has been teaching Law of Forensic Science,Contract Law and Criminal Minor Acts.
Ms.Kalyani Sharad Kakade
(BSLLL.B , LL.M )
Ms.Kalyani Sharad Kakade completed her BSLLL.B from Dr. D.Y.Patil Law College, Pune. LL.M (International Law) from Law Department, Savitribai Phule Pune University. She has qualified UGC NET Examination 2018 and has a teaching experience in Procedural Law.
She joined BLC in March 2022, and teaches Criminal Psychology, Administrative Law and Law of contract.
Mr. Prashant Subhash Arbune

Mr. Prashant Subhash Arbune completed his B.A. (Hons) in Political Science from Abasaheb Garware College, Pune. Thereafter LLB from ILS Law College, Pune and LLM in Constitutional and Administrative Law from Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University’s New Law College, Pune. He has qualified UGC NET Examination and Maharashtra SET Examination in 2022.
He joined BLC in April 2022, and he teaches Alternate Dispute Resolution, Criminal Procedure Code and Jurisprudence.
Mr. Tushar Krishnamani
(B.Com , LL.B , LL.M) SET, NET-JRF)
Mr. Tushar Krishnamani Completed his B.Com from R.A.Podar College, Matunga, Mumbai, graduated LL.B from D.Y. Patil University and LL.M from Department of Law, Savitribai Phule Pune University. He qualified MH-SET 2021 and Qualified UGC NET-JRF in December-June 2021 and joined Balaji Law College in April 2022 as a full-time faculty.
He also has an experience of civil litigation at the Bombay High Court.
He teaches Administrative Laws, Sociology and Legal Constitutional History and is also the head of IQAC, Balaji Law College and has also headed Technical Department for Law Department, SPPU.
Mr. Mohit G
(B.S.L. LL. B, LL.M) NET)
Mr. Mohit G, an LL.M from National Law University Mumbai (MNLU) specializes in Commercial and Corporate Laws with expertise in Company Law, Competition law, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, and Comparative Constitutional Law. He has been a civil litigator representing and advising Insurance companies, Regional Banks, assisting Government institutions and state Government panels on legal issues.
He has graduated B.S.L. LL. B from ILS Law Pune and has experienced litigation as a Criminal Defense Counsel under Nahar Law Chamber overlooking, assisting in representing MPID, Cyber, Body offenses, POCSO, Atrocities, Motor accidents, Domestic violence, divorce cases, and other family and criminal disputes.
He qualified UGC-NET (Law) in December-2019 and he joined Balaji Law College in April 2022. He is now a full-time faculty and in charge of the Anti-ragging Committee and Placement Cell here at Balaji Law College.
